Blissfully Easy Flatbread


Oven-Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes Vegetarian

Whip up this easy flatbread and top with Oven-Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes for an easy and savory appetizer!

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl combine the flour and baking powder. Add in the yogurt a little at a time. You may not need all the yogurt to form the dough. The yogurt should be completely absorbed by the flour. 
  • Step 2

    Place formed dough on a floured surface and divide into 2 oz balls.You should have between 8-12 balls.  
  • Working with one ball of dough at a time, roll each one out to an 8 x 8 circle. Rolling the dough as thin as possible will help ensure even cooking.
  • Step 3

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Using a pastry brush, brush one side of the rolled dough with olive oil before placing it  into the hot skillet. Allow the bread to toast and bubble up cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Step 4

    Once the bread is nicely browned remove from the heat and spoon roasted tomatoes on top with herbs and/or cheese, if desired.
