Orzo, Lentil and Chickpea Stew with Moroccan-Spiced Heirloom Tomatoes

For classic comfort, serve Orzo, Lentil and Chickpea Stew with Moroccan-Spiced Heirloom Tomatoes. Reduce the ingredient list and prep time by using canned chickpeas and Tomato Bliss. Finishing the dish with fresh lemon juice brightens all the flavors. 

  • Step 1

    Combine Tomato Bliss, chickpeas and lentils in a large Dutch oven: bring to a simmer over high heat. Reduce to medium-low, partially covered, and gently simmer until lentils are tender about 20 minutes. 

  • Step 2

    Stir in pasta and simmer partially covered 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in chard and continue to cook partially covered until pasta is tender, about 5 minutes longer. Off heat stir in lemon juice, 1/4 cup cilantro and remaining cup parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve passing lemon wedges separately.
