Smoky Tomato Soup

Blitz Oven-Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes and lightly sautéed onion in a blender for a savory soup.
In a saucepan, warm 2 tablespoons of liquid from Roasted Tomatoes over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about five minutes.
Add Oven-Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes (and remaining liquid) and stir. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook for about five minutes, then add mixture to a blender or use an immersion blender. Blitz until smooth and pour back into saucepan.
Stir cream into soup, if using, then serve.

1large onion, roughly chopped
3cloves of garlic, sliced
2salt and pepper
2tsp. smoked paprika
3Tbs. of heavy cream, optional
